Europol
Europol ( European Organizes Office ) is an office of criminal police force intergovernmental which facilitates the exchange of information between national police forces as regards Stupéfiant S, of Terrorisme, international criminality and Pédophilie. Convention establishing its was signed and ratified by all the Member States of the European Union. Europol exerts the whole of its missions since July 1st 1999.
Europol takes part in the fight against criminality in Europe by improving the co-operation between the liaison officers Europol (OLE) detached near the Office by Member States, by the simplified transmission of necessary informations to the investigations. It coordinates and centralizes investigations against criminal organizations of even international European size.
Europol is responsible before the Council of Ministers for the Member States in charge with Justice and the Interior matters. The Council of Ministers is responsible for total control and the orientations of Europol. It falls on to appoint him the director, the assistant editors and to adopt the budget.
