European campaigns of Of Gironde of Bordeaux
The Girondins of Bordeaux are to date the French team having disputed the most meetings of Cut of Europe of Football (Intertoto except): 138, with small ten matches in advance on Monaco and more still on the Lyon, Marseilles, Nantes, or Saint-Etienne of which we would think more easily. These matches is distributed on 27 European campaigns (joint participation in the league of the champions and the cut uefa at the time of the season 2006-2007) in the following way:

In this end of summer 1984, the moral one is with the good shape with the Girondins of Bordeaux. The club gained three months earlier its first championship in thirty-four years, finally putting a term at one frustrating series of second places. The team of France, to strong framework of Bordeaux, comes to gain with the Euro 84 the first major title of French football. It is to know little about the new solidity of the champions of the country champion of Europe, which tears off equalization in prolongation and is qualified for the quarterfinals for the first time of their history. Only French team still in race in spring 1985, Bordeaux falls on a new bone with the Soviets from Dniepropetrovsk, which it owes (still!) to receive in first.
