Europe 2

Europe 2 is a musical French private radio of category D (category C for the local stations) which was created in 1986 by Patrick Fillioud and Marc Garcia. It belongs to the group Lagardere Active. In the night of the December 31st 2007 with the January 1st 2008 at midnight (subject to SCUMS), the station will be famous " Virgin Radio".

In addition to the sponsoring of many albums and artists, Europe 2 organizes its own events live.

Europe 2 Live

Since February 2004, Europe 2 brings together some artists on the same scene, thus creating a succession in concerts more or less long, for the price of one.

the first edition took place with Bercy (Paris) on February 14th, 2004 and joins together Indo-China, Placebo, Tarmac, Ben Harper, Eagle-Eye Cherry and Pleymo.
Always in Bercy, on July 6th, 2004, 2nd edition with Avril Lavigne, Kyo, The Calling, Katy Pink, NERD and Luke.
the third edition was held on November 19th with the Halle Tony Garnier of Lyon, in the presence of The Cure, Keane, Gerald de Palmas, Franz Ferdinand, No One Is Innocent and Sinsémilia.
Fourth edition, with the Park of the Princes of Paris, this time, on June 18th, 2005. With the program: Garbage, - m, Moby, Luke and Tears For Fears.
Fifth edition of return to Bercy in July 2006 in company of KT Tunstall, Anaïs and Massive Attack.
the sixth edition will be held this time with the Zenith of Paris on June 22nd, 2007. Avril Lavigne, Superbus, Phoenix and Razorlight is announced right now.

Europe 2 Campuses Turn is a round gathering several French-speaking groups. In each city, a selected local group ensures the first part.
