Europa Cantat

Europa Cantat , founded in 1960/1963 by the French César Geoffray and the German Gotfried Wolter, is a network of organizations members, choruses, chorus-singers, chiefs of chorus, type-setters and organizers of the world choral of 43 European countries.
Europa Cantat represents directly more than one singer, chief million of chorus and type-setter and in key more than 20 million in 40 European countries, the members of the news and the future European Union included/understood.

Europa Cantat develops

  • cultural diversity
  • the cultural exchange with teaching activities between the participants of various countries in their meeting, the division of the music, the daily life and mutual listening.
  • diversity of the musical styles, the Gregorian chant to Pop Vocal and with Rap
  • of the music for the individual chorus-singers, the vocal groups and the choruses of any kind

  • the mobility of the chiefs of chorus, type-setters and chorus-singers

  • at any age, and more particularly with the young people of less than 27 years

  • with those which suffer from economic disadvantages, social or other
