Eurockéennes
The Eurockéennes of Belfort are one of largest the festivals of music rock'n'roll of France and owe part of their success with the natural site of the Malsaucy on which the demonstration is held of outdoor.
The last edition took place the 29, June 30th and July 1st 2007.
Presentation
History
The first edition of the festival took place in 1989 under name “the Balloon - Territory of musics” of the name of the Ballon of Alsace. In fact the festival would have being organized with the Balloon of Alsace, but it is finally the peninsula of the Lake Malsaucy which was selected. It is the General advice of the Territoire of Belfort which wished to instigate the department with a cultural great event for youth.It is into 1990 that the festival changes name for “ Eurockéennes of Belfort ”.

The site
Eurockéennes are held on the almost-island of the Lac of Malsaucy to 10 km of Belfort. Several scenes are present: the Large Scene, the Capital, the Loggia, Sound System and the Beach. Moreover, most of the time, several concerts are played at the same time. With approximately 70 concerts per edition, Eurockéennes propose a broad panorama of the popular musics.A camp-site, located at 3 km of the site and close to the carpark, lodges also free 12.000 campers carrying the ticket of entry. Free shuttles of bus are ensured between this carpark and the entry of the festival for all its length of time.
Moreover, shuttles FOR THE THIRD TIME (regional trains) are placed at the disposal free, between the town of Belfort and the site of the Festival, and this every 45 minutes.
Springboards
“Springboards” are organized to make it possible the young groups to make known itself. They are organized in Alsace, Burgundy, Franche-Comté (Doubs, the Jura, Haute-Saône and Territoire of Belfort), Lorraine, Germany and Suisse. They allow 7 groups resulting from Large Is to divide the poster of the festival with the great names of the international scene.
