Eunus
Eunus or Eunous was the chief of the First servile war, revolt of the slaves against the Romains, was a native slave of Syria.
He succeeds in acquiring a great influence on his companions of slavery and put himself at the head of them in Sicily. He was proclaimed king, took the name of Antiochus and gathered an army which counted to 200.000 men. He demolished several Roman generals before being demolishes in his turn by the consul Publius Rupilius in 132 av. J. - C.. He died a prison of Mormantina.
