Eugene Prévost (religious)

Born in Saint-Jerome, with the Quebec, Eugene Prévost nourishes as of the 17 years age the project to become a saint. In 1881, it enters to the noviciate of the Company of the Very Blessed Sacrament, with Brussels because attracted by the thought of its founder, Pierre-Julien Eymard, on Jesus continuing his work in the Eucharistie. It leaves the Company in August 1900 to found what will become the Congregation of Sacerdotal Fraternity as well as a community of women, the Oblates de Béthanie.
In spite of many obstacles, he manages to establish his work in France, Italy and with the Canada. He is an important figure in the spiritual current of the beginning of the 20th century.
