Eugene Diomi Ndongala

Eugene Diomi Ndongala Nzomambu , born in 1962, is a politician in Democratic republic of Congo. Diomi was born with Sonabata in the province from the Low-Congo. It was parliamentary and vice-minister of the Economy and Finances as from 1994 in a government of the president of the Republic Mobutu Sese Seko.

December 10th, 1997, it is arrested and imprisoned without legal order nor judgment. According to Amnesty International, Diomi was stopped by the police force militiare under the mode of Laurent-Desired Kabila. It was released the January 24th 1998.

In 2003, Diomi becomes Minister for the Mines in the transition government, but is dislocated of its station in 2004 after having been accused of corruption.

He is the president of the Front for the Survival of the Democracy in Congo/Christian Democrat. He is candidate with the presidential election of 2006.
