Eugene Deloncle
Eugene Deloncle is a Politician French (Brest, June 20th 1890 - Paris, January 17th 1944), cofounder of the Hood in 1935.
Biography
Wire of the commander Deloncle, who refused to leave his footbridge and was absorbed at sea with his boat Burgundy at the time of his shipwreck on December 2nd, 1898.
His/her sister, who married the Laurent-Cely lawyer was the mother of the writer Jacques Laurent. His/her other sister was married a time with the large bridge player Pierre Albarran.
Polytechnicien (X1910 Promotion, second), engineer of the Marine engineering, it fought during the First World War as artillery officer and was wounded on the Champagne face. He is made knight of the Légion of honor.
He adheres initially to the French Action, then founds in 1935, with Jean Filliol, the secret Organization of national revolutionary action (the adjective national was then removed; badly read, “O” was taken for “C”) known of the police force under the name of secret committee of action revolutionary (CSAR) and called the Hood by the press. This nickname is allotted besides with contempt by Maurice Pujo of the French Action.
Anticommunist, antirépublicain.
Its principal feats of arms are the attack against the General confederation of French employers and the group of metallurgical industries the September 11th 1937 and the assassination of the brothers Rosselli, two Italian militants antifascists.
According to Pierre Péan, at the end of the month of November 1936, Deloncle the general Henri Giraud meets. Giraud promises its assistance to Deloncle in the event of communist rising, and Deloncle announces to him that the cagoulards would line up under its orders in exchange. Very satisfied, Giraud “is obviously of agreement to work with people of the OSARN and wishes the best success with the company of Deloncle and Duseigneur”
In July 1938, the civil staff and several soldiers is a total of 120 people are stopped by the police force.
After the armistice of June 1940, Deloncle joined the admiral François Darlan and renews contact with old cagoulards.
End 1940, Eugene Deloncle creates the revolutionary Social movement for the national Révolution (MSR), supporting the marshal Pétain, then, through the popular national Rassemblement, approaches Marcel Déat. The intrigues between the two men are right of this alliance and Deloncle is excluded in May 1942.
He also collaborates with the admiral Wilhelm Canaris, who directs German military against-espionage.
The January 17th 1944, Deloncle is assassinated (with his/her son) by the Gestapo because of its relations with the admiral Canaris and other members of the Abwehr opposed to Hitler.
His/her adoptive son, Jacques Corrèze (1912 - 1991), member of the “Hood” was after the Second world war an important framework of the company L'Oreal, in particular charged to negotiate the lifting of the Boycott implemented by the Arab countries after this company had repurchased the company Helena Rubinstein. Jean Filliol, n° 2 and killer of the Hood, after having soaked in the massacre of Oradour, imagined white maquis starting from Germany, fought in Italy, was engaged by Oréal-Spain.
In 1939, the niece of Eugene Deloncle, Edith Book, wife Robert Mitterrand, one of the brothers of François Mitterrand. In addition, the personal bonds between several members of the Hood and the Mitterrand family are proven, with Jean-Marie Bouvyer in particular, whose mother will become the godmother of Jean-Christophe Mitterrand but also Gabriel Jeantet, Yves Dautun, François Méténier and Simon Arbellot.
