Eugene Delahoutre
Eugene Delahoutre is a French politician, born on February 4th, 1893 in Linselles (Northern).
Biography
After studies of Right, it settles in Clermont (Oise) where it follows the occupation of Notary.
It is during the Second world war that it feels the need to engage, in accordance with its Christian and humanistic convictions. Resisting within the Secret Army, then of the Civil and Military Organization, it is named president of the delegation municpale of Clermont (equivalent of the Mayor) in 1944.
Mayor of Clermont of 1945 to 1947, it is elected General adviser of Oise and deputy (first assembly consituante) in October 1945, under the banner of the popular Republican movement.
Re-elected at the Second Constituent in June 1946), then with the National Assembly in November of this same year.
For all this period, it takes an active part in the parliamentary activity, notamme of the commission of Justice, but also on the questions which interest its department more particularly, and in particular the questions agricultural.
In 1951, it is not re-elected with the National Assembly, but continuous to sit at the general advice of Oise, representing the canton of Clermont.
After a new failure with legislative, in 1956, it gives up the political life however.
He dies on February 1st, 1981 in Cannes (the Alpes-Maritimes).
