Eugene Bernard Shelley Logier
Eugene Bernard Shelley Logier is a Canadian herpetologist , born the February 27th 1893 with Clontarf and dead the March 16th 1979 with Toronto.
Its family emigrates in Canada in 1906 where it is initiated with the Zoologie near Charles William Nash (1848-1926). Impassioned as of childhood by nature, endowed in the field with arts, he becomes illustrator with the royal Musée of Ontario in 1915. He made his career there and becomes, in 1947, conservative of the herpetologic collections which reach the number of 10.000 specimens thanks to many forwardings through the country. In 1948, it starts to teach the Herpétologie with the Université of Toronto. He is the author of more than fifty publications, which he illustrates itself.
