Eugene-Guillaume Argenteau
Eugene-Guillaume Argenteau, count de Mercy (1741-1819) was a Belgian soldier with the service of the Austria.
It made several campaigns in Italy against the French.
The November 23rd 1795, it was beaten by Masséna with Loano, demolished which been worth the council of war to him, but it was discharged.
Its slowness to carry out the orders of Beaulieu made of him the person in charge of the Austrian defeat to the Bataille of Montenotte. After this episode, it remained in non-activity.
