Eugen von Keyserling

The count Eugen von Keyserling is a German Naturaliste , born the April 4th 1833 with Pockroy in Lithuania and dead the April 4th 1889 in Silesia of the continuations of a Tuberculose.
He makes studies of Natural history in Dorpat in 1851. Of 1856 with 1859, it travels in the Russian empire , in the the Caucasus, in Arménie and Perse. In 1860, it leaves in Great Britain and embarks for the Africa, but it falls ill in Algérie and must return in Europe and remains in France.
It settles in 1864 in Silesia where it buys a vast domain. It devotes its leisures to the study of the Araignée S which it receives in particular from its correspondents in the America S.
Its work, Die Spinnen Amerikas , is completed by George Marx (1838-1895).
