Euchromatine

The euchromatine is Chromatine décondensée made of fibers from 3,5 to 6 Nm of diameter. It is very déspiralisée and corresponds to active gene zones, i.e. the genes are there transcribed. The euchromatine (or more precisely the Histone S of this one) is hyperacétylée and hypométhylée compared to the Hétérochromatine.

The euchromatine is the started from active chromatin on the level transcriptionnel . It constitutes 15% of the nuclear DNA.
