Etnies

etnies is a mark of American shoe based with Lake Forest , in California, and pertaining to Sole Technology. It is specialized in the shoes and clothing intended for the Skateboard ers, Snowboard ers, BMX eurs and Surf eurs.

The firm was born in France in 1986, with for original name " Etnics ", derived from the word " ethnique" and referring to the subculture of the skateboard of the time. The name was changed into " etnies" following legal events. This company tries to use less toxic materials possible for its manufacture, in particular with regard to the adhesives. In 1989, Pierre André Senizergues took the firm as its responsibility, by making the first company of shoes of skateboard pertaining to a pro-skateur.

etnies is regarded as the broadest mark among those of Technology Plate. If its other marks, are Footwear and Emerica, is very targeted on the shoes of skate, etnies proposes a wider range, including shoes for children and even a line of shoes for ladies (Etnies Girl).
