Etienne the Flat-bottom ones
Etienne Flat-bottom (born towards 1390 with Flat-bottom (Gascogne) - died the January 11th 1443 with Montauban), said Hire is a man of war.
Its nickname of Hire would come owing to the fact that it was rather violent and coléreux (anger = French anger of then).
It was distinguished against the Burgundian ones as of 1418 with the seat from Coucy. Then in 1429, it fought at the sides of Jeanne d' Arc with the seat of Orleans, made wonders of value to the battles of Jargeau and Patay; and approached Rouen in 1431 to try to deliver heroin, but fell itself to the hands from the English and was made prisoner. He was companion of Jean Poton de Xaintrailles.
Having succeeded in escaping the following year from the keep of Dourdan, it took again the war in Artois, Île-de-France and Picardy, gaining many successes, but also multiplying the acts of cruelty and plunderings.
His/her Amadoc brother the Flat-bottom ones was killed at the time of the catch of Creil by John Talbot in March 1434.
He died of the continuations of his wounds with Montauban, where he had accompanied the king Charles VII. Its tomb was decorated of a Gisant the representative, but it disappeared with the Revolution.
