Etienne Pin

Etienne Goujon (April 29th 1840 with Bridge-with-Veyle - December 7th 1907 in Paris) was a politician French.

He was General adviser (republican moderate) of the Canton of Bridge-in Ain of 1883 with 1901 and Senator of the Ain of January 1885 with his death in 1907. Doctor of formation, Etienne Goujon directed a private hospital to Paris, street Picpus, and was elected Maire XIIe district in 1879. It occupied this function until in 1900. Beaten at the partial legislation of April 1883 by Joseph Ladle, Mayor of Marboz and General adviser of Coligny, he was then elected Senator of the Ain to three recoveries, in 1885 (564 votes out of 905), in 1894 (737 votes out of 891) and in 1903 (722 votes out of 883). Near to Gambetta, Ferry and Waldeck-Rousseau, it supported the Gouvernement of this last like that of Combes at the beginning of the XXe century. August 19th, 1889, he was elected with the presidency of the General advice of the Ain and directed the departmental assembly during three years before being replaced by the Député Pochon, on August 22nd, 1892.

After its death, a Statue was inaugurated with its memory, with Bridge-with-Veyle, on September 14th, 1910, in the presence of the President of the Republic Emile Loubet. His/her son, Pierre Pin, succeeded to him the General advice in 1901 before being elected Député of the 1st Circonscription of Borough-in-Bresse in 1910 and 1914. Pierre Pin, first Parliamentary French died for the France, was killed with the face, Méhoncourt, close to Lunéville, on August 25th, 1914.
