Etienne Ier of Burgundy known as " Hardie" head; (1065 - 1102) count de Bourgogne, count de Mâcon and of Vienna, wire of the count Guillaume Ier of Burgundy, younger brother of the count Renaud II from Burgundy which it succeeds, and brother of the pope Calixte II
Biography

1065 it is born from the Count Guillaume Ier of Burgundy, and of Étiennette of Longwy-Metz (girl of the duke Adalbert of Lorraine)
- 1097 it succeeds old 32 years his/her brother the count Renaud II of Burgundy which dies in the First crusade (1096 - 1099). It makes party of powerful and influential family line with his father, his brothers and the marriages of his sisters
- It Marie with Béatrice of Lorraine, girl of the duke Gerard Ier of Lorraine, from which it has several children:
- - Renaud III of Burgundy which succeeds
- to him - Guillaume IV of Burgundy, count de Mâcon in 1102, count of Auxonne 1127
- - Etienne II, wire of Guillaume IV, count of Auxonne in 1156 and of Notched joints († 1173)
- - Etienne III, wire of Etienne II, count of Auxonne, († 1241)
- - Jean Ier de Chalon, wire of Etienne III, count de Chalon then lord the Saline ones.
- - Agnes of Burgundy marries the count Richard III of Montfaucon count de Montbéliard and lord Montfaucon
- - Isabelle of Burgundy who marries in 1110 the count Hugues Ier de Champagne
- 1102, it dies in the Croisade S with old 37 years (Following the success of the First crusade (1096 - 1099) to deliver Tombeau of Christ infidels with Jerusalem in Holy Land, and before the Second crusade (1147 - 1149), several armed forwardings are made up with lords and ecclesiastics of all Europe)
