Etienne Gois father

Etienne Pierre Adrien Gois known as Etienne Gois the father is a French sculptor, born with Paris, the 1^er January 1731 and died in this same city in 1823.

Biography

Raise Michel-Angel Slodtz, Etienne Gois gained the Prix of Rome of sculpture in 1757. At the end of its stay to the Villa Médicis, it carried out a bust of the Pain , work which, presented three years later to the Parisian living room, obtained a sharp success there.

He was member of the royal Académie of painting and sculpture.
