Etienne Fajon
Etienne Fajon is a politician and a French press baron, born on September 11th, 1906 with Jonquières (Herault) and deceased on December 4th, 1991 with Argenteuil (Val-d'Oise). It is buried with the Cimetière of the Father-Lachaise.
Biography
Teacher of formation, it enters to the French Communist party, of which it climbs the levels quickly: he is member of the Central committee (1932-1990), of the Political office (1945-1979) and of the Secretariat (1954-1956 and 1970-1976). He is also, with Georges Cogniot, the representative of PCF to the Kominform with his creation.In addition, he becomes director-assistant (1948-1958), then directing (1958-1974) of Humanity .
