Etienne Eggis

Etienne Eggis , born with Freiburg the October 25th 1830 and dead the February 13rd 1867 with Berlin, was a writer and Swiss Poète .

Its family had French roots at the same time and German. Jules Janin, which was one of the first to recognize genius (" to him; It is young, it was born poète") Gallo-German qualified besides. It was touched in its youth by many family mournings. Initially Tutor at the court of a prince of Bavaria, it moves away from there because of its republican ideas. Arrived at Paris, it is made little by little know with collections of poetry: By causing with the Moon in 1851 and Voyages to the Countries of the Heart two years later. He writes much in the newspapers of the time: Test S, Poem S, Nouvelle S. Arsène Houssaye takes it a time under its wing, and describes it as one of the most whimsical arts persons whom it met. He leaves Paris in 1854 - 1855, and travels in Belgium and Germany, before returning to Switzerland. Its last years are badly known. He died in 1867 of tuberculosis, forgotten almost all.
