Etienne Decaux

Etienne Decaux (1926-1976) was a linguist and grammairien French specialist in language Polish E, professor with the National school of the alive Eastern languages until 1973, thus succeeding Henri Grappin, and, of 1972 to 1976, with the Université of Nancy II.

Then studying in Poland, he was imprisoned by the communist authorities in 1949 and 1950 before being expelled of the country.

It was interested also much in the Amblyope S and blind and in the written forms intended for these people (subject of its thesis of doctorate).
