Etienne Dailly , born the January 4th 1918 and deceased the December 24th 1996. Administrator of companies, engineer and politician French.

Senator de Seine-et-Marne of 1959 to 1995.
Vice-president of the Senate of 1968 with 1995.
President of the Senate by interim from April 2nd to May 24th, 1974, Alain Poher ensuring itself the interim of the Presidency of the Republic, following the death of Georges Pompidou.

General adviser of Seine-et-Marne of 1961 with 1977.
President of the General advice of Seine-et-Marne of 1967 to 1977.

Mayor of Montcourt-Fromonville of 1957 with 1965.
Mayor of Nemours of 1965 to 1971.

Etienne Dailly managed several companies like Lancia-France (1969-1971), the Western Bank for Industry and the Trade (1971-1981), the electro-financial Company (1979-1981), Brisa SA (1979-1988), the General Western one (1981-1991), the forest Western Company (1985-1988) and the Company Spiced sauce (1989-1996).

Named member of the French Constitutional council in 1995 by Rene Monory, President of the Senate, it dies during its mandate and is replaced by Yves Guéna.
