Etienne Cournault

Etienne Cournault is a French painter born the March 15th 1891 with Malzéville close to Nancy and died in 1948 in this same city.

Painter follower of the Cubism formed to the School of the Art schools of Nancy, it specialized in the painting annealed glass as well as decoration and engraving " arts décoratifs". He invents in the years 1920, of the mirrors painted then between 1930 and 1933 of the jewels in collaboration with Jean Després presented to the Union for the Modern arts.

He is established in 1930 with the Douëra, house of style Moorish created by his grandfather, the painter Charles Cournault
