History

Ethylvanillin is an aromatic molecule of synthesis. Its discovery in a natural state is recent. It was insulated in vanilla coming from Tahiti, (Vanilla tahitensis) , species different of Vanilla planifolia , vanilla cultivated mainly.

Its aromatic intensity is 5 times higher than that of vanillin.
