Eternity, perhaps

Eternity, perhaps ( 永遠 - とわ - かもしれない , eien - towa - kamoshirenai ) is a Manga Japan board of Michiyo Akaishi. Published in French with the editions I read, it comprises 8 entirely translated volumes.

Short summary of the history

Kosumo Koganehara (黄金原こすも), seventeen years, has since always a fragile Cœur. Living under the threat of a heart attack, it cannot be transplanted because it has a Blood group extremely rare.

One day, whereas she is hospitalized with New York, the Miracle occurs: a Japanese young girl having the same blood group is made reverse by a truck and dies; its heart is then grafted in Kosumo.

But the donneuse one, Himiko (日巫女), was the largest priestess of Japan, able to influence the government and to receive the assistance of certain gods. Kosumo inherits this force, and is found threatened by certain powers which want to make of the priestess their headstock.

Helped by Hitsugi (日嗣), Bodyguard of Himiko which failed in its mission, it will try to resist these attacks, and especially to find their origin to get rid some.
