Eternal Sabbath (or ES) is a seinen manga of Fuyumi Soryo, whose first volume is appeared in 2002 in Japan, and in 2004 in France (editions Glénat). It is a series of 8 volumes whose publication is finished in Japan and in France.

Synopsis

The history is based around characters having sudden genetic modifications give them telepathic capacities and a very resistant metabolism. For the human normal ones, those constitute a threat on civilization. For these being modified genetically, temptation to be used for itself to be able to them to be avenged for human to be built as of the experiment of laboratory is large. However selected Shuro the way of integration near the human ones whereas Isaac, younger, preferred violence and the domination. Killing all the scientists who studied it, Isaac is in now in freedom but he is sought by two scientists Sakaki, Mine Kujô helped of Shuro.

At the same time thriller fantastic and psychosocial drama, ES is a populated series charismatic and ambiguous characters. ES is halfway between Akira of Otomo, the Chess-board of the evil of daN Simmons and Monster of Naoki Urasawa.
