Estrecho de Kerch

Jean Sicard , known as Yann Brekilien , is a Breton writer. He was born the December 11th 1920 with Paris.

Second world war

He is resistant as of 1941. He founds a clandestine newspaper with the Dupoy brothers and wire of the Arrighi barristers president.

In 1942, it enters to the Those of Resistance (CDLR).

In 1943, it takes the maquis to escape STO, hides with Elliant. It orders a section of FFI and takes part in the combat of the summer 1945.

After the war

After the war, it continues a career of magistrate. He was vice-president of the TGI of Vannes (1975 -80).

Prolix author, he is founder and honorary president of the Association of the Breton writers. He is editor association of the review Breiz of the confederation Kendalc' H. He is president of Ar Varhekadenn (federation of equestrian tourism) and member of the Gorsedd of the druids and bards. He is administrator of the Coop Breizh, member of the editorial board of Armor Magazine and was member of the Committee of honor of Avenir of the Culture.
