The estivation is a phenomenon similar to that of the Hibernation, during which the animals fall in Léthargie. The estivation occurs during the hottest periods and driest of the summer.

One meets this phenomenon for example at the Crocodile S which remain hidden in the Vase for the hottest periods. At the Snail S, the estivation is a means of spending the very dry summers.
