Esthetic variation
The esthetic Écart is an important notion of the theory of the reception developed by the theorist of the Littérature Hans Robert Jauss. It is about the distance which exists between waiting of the reader with respect to work and work elle-même.
Et for Jauss, it is this variation which gives its value Esthétique to work.
