Jean-Christmas Pancrazi is a writer French current born with Setif (Algérie) in 1949.
This novelist of Corsican origin was born in Algeria, country which it leaves in 1962 at the time of the war of independence to settle in France with Perpignan then with Paris.
Incorporated modern Letters in 1972 and collaborator in the World of the Books, he is member of the jury of the Prix Renaudot since 1999.
He is known for his sought writing, with the long sown sentences of metaphors. The narrator of the Winter quarters evokes the life of a gay bar, his loves with a young person without shelter, his friendship with a painter devoted to the S/M, on bottom of epidemic of AIDS.
