Places and monuments

  • Estadens had two castles.
    • Castérot, of which there remain today only some vestiges on the ground, was built on a hill. It was primarily a advanced station which was used as turn with signals.

    • On the other hand the castle of the Gossip, in the same district as the church (whose massive Clocher an element of defense constituted) preserved part of sound Donjon, unfortunately amputee during the winter 2003. In 1930, it still preserved the totality of the keep as well as the principal door.
    • the layout of the two enclosures is still visible.

    • the text of the " Coutumes" granted by Dame Barrave was preserved. Those provided that the lord of Aspet was to maintain a " there; Lord of the manor " = (Gouverneur), held to reside at it permanently and which could hold Garnison. It is the Seigneur which provided for maintenance with the buildings, the Consul S being obliged only to maintain in state the external enclosure.
  • the Vault of Saint-Paul at the bottom of a small small valley, testifies to a long tradition of devotion to the Apôtre Saint Paul of which the legend veu that it passed in this place (what is completely incredible). But testimonys on the seniority of the devotion are inontestables. One came there, in particular of the Val of Aran and the Pèlerinage S doubled of a kind of Foire S, which gave place to overflows badly seen of the civil authorities as well as religious, which ended up prohibiting them.

    • the Portail is classified.
  • Below the church, a source " miraculeuse" leaves a Grotte in which remainders Préhistorique S.
