Geography

Somme Tourbe is a commune located at the east of the Champagne plain on the axis Rheims - Holy-Menehould, in edge of the massive Argonnais.

The Peat, affluent of the Suippe takes its source there.

History

On the commune were updated of the vestiges of a roman chariot exposed to the museum of the National antiquities of Saint-Germain-in-Bush hammer.

The village completely was destroyed in 1914 excluded the church and the school.
