Noncontent with détrousser the piles traveller, these non-believers tore off the eyes to him. Once they had left, two birds secretly collected the eyes of Guibert, before flying away in direction of Conques.
Deprived on its sight, Guibert decided to use its voice to live, and was made juggler. One year had occurred since its tragedy mishap, when, one night, holy Foy appeared to him in dream, advising to him to come to again visit it in its sanctuaire.
Its trade of juggler reporting only thin subsidies, Guibert to him hesitated, wondering how it could provide for the expenditure with the voyage. Sainte Foy predicts to him whereas if it made the search with the mass, it would obtain six sums of money. This prediction was carried out and Guibert got under way.
Arrived at Conques, it spent the night in prayers near the tomb of Foy, which also a crowd of pilgrims took care and their enthusiasm was such, this night there, that Guibert recovered the sight.
