Espartaco

Juan Antonio Ruiz Román known as “Espartaco” is a Matador Spanish born the October 3rd 1962 with Espartinas (Spain, Province of Seville).

Presentation

Bullfighter headlight of the Years 1980, it faces hard bulls, with sometimes a lack of esthetics but an undeniable courage and a deep respect of the bull like public, which pushes it to draw the best from each meeting.

He occupies the first place of the Escalafón without stopping of 1985 with 1991. In 1995, it is obliged to stop its career because of a wound which has occurred in… playing Football! It does not reappear in 1998 and definitively withdraws in 2002, not taking part any more but episodically in festivals.

Beginnings in novillada with picadors with Ondara (Spain, Province of Alicante) in 1978.
