Eskimo curlew

The Eskimo Courlis ( Numenius borealis ) is a species which reproduces in the north of the North America and winters in areas to date unknown of South America. Its population was estimated at several million specimens at last century, manpower are today impossible to estimate. Only some rare observations take place each year. When the species gathered at the end of the summer on banks of the Labrador before undertaking its migration, of formidable carnages took place, they continued all along the migratory axis.
