With the Quebec, the arbitration of objections is a specialized Tribunal whose function is to slice the litigations concerning the interpretation or the application of a Collective agreement. The referee is chosen by the two parts, that is to say the Syndicat and the Employeur, or then appointed by the Minister for Labor of Quebec.
The Law conferring the capacities on the referee of objection and enacting the rules of the arbitration is the Labor regulation. The Collective agreement as generally prescribes its own rules of arbitration as the referee of objection must respect.
