Eschine de Sphettos

Eschine de Sphettos is a friendly Greek philosopher very near to Socrate; among the disciples of this one, Eschine would have been very near to Aristippe de Cyrène, before being scrambled with him. Socrat reproaches him for touching wages for his teaching. He would have also written dialogs socratic but there remain to us only some fragments of its work.

Not to confuse with the speaker Eschine.
