Esch-on-Sure

Esch-on-Sure (in Luxembourg: Esch-Sauer or Esch amndt Lach ) is one of the 116 communes Luxembourg S. It counts approximately 200 inhabitants. The locality is primarily known for its old medieval city articulating itself around the castle, located on a rocky outcrop in a meander of the Sûre. An artificial lake is located in the vicinity.
