Erythrasma

The érythrasma is a cutaneous infection frequent with corynebacterium minutissimum (bacterium saprophyte). The infection is localized in the folds (hollow axillaire, hollow inguinal, folds inter-gluteus…) and consists of a Macule delimited well, of color red-brown with fines squames.
The supporting factors are the diabetes, the Obésité, a perspiration excessive.
The diagnosis is made with the direct microscopic examination, or the Black light (red fluorescence). The differential diagnosis is to be made with the inguino-cnemial dermatophytose (called in the past eczema marginé of Hébra ).
The treatment consists of érythromycine local or per bone.
