Erykah Badu

Erykah Badu , born Erica Wright with Dallas with the the United States, is an American singer Soul/Hip hop/Jazz.

She begins her musical career at the school with a duet Rap under the pseudo one of MC After . Returned in Louisiana' S Grambling State University, it makes the decision into 1993 to be devoted full-time to the music. Of return to Dallas it creates with her cousin, the group hip hop Erykah Free .

It will make thereafter with Tim Grace, the first parts of has Tribe Called Quest, Method Man and Arrested Development. It also opens for Angelo in 1995.

Erikah Badu leaves Dallas to record its first album Baduizm solo in New York, 1997 (individual One & One and Next Lifetime).

It leaves then its second Live album which is composed of pieces of Baduizm in concert and the new songs I' L Be The Moon and Tyrone.

Erikah Badu gives rise to its first child who is called Seven and whose father is not other than Andre DRE Benjamin of the group OutKast.
