Ernesto Hoost

Ernesto Frits Hoost , born on July 11th, 1965 is one of the most famous kick-boxers of the circuit of K-1. It is four times champion in title of K-1 World Grand Prix.

Of nationality Dutchwoman and originating in the Suriname it is involved since always in its club " Your Gym" located in full heart of Amsterdam. Mr. Perfect as it is called made his beginnings in 1993 in K-1 World Grand Prix where it missed only one victory to gain the title.

Biography

December 19th 1993 , Hoost gains the championship of the K-2 World, while beating by KB Chiangpuet Kiangsongrit with the 4th round.

In 1995 , Hoost still reaches the finale of K-1 World Grand Prix but loses against Peter Aerts by decision at the end of the 4th round. It gained all its engagements thereafter this year.

In 1996 , it loses again finally of World Grand Prix against Andy Hug by decision shared at the end of the 4th round.

He becomes finally the world champion of K-1 in 1997 by beating Andy Hug by unanimous decision with the 3rd round.

In 1998 , it tournament gains its first defense of title at the time of World Grand Prix, but it loses by KB in its 2nd combat against legendary the Sam Greco.

In 1999, Hoost gains its second championship of World Grand Prix by beating Mirko Filipovic by KB with the 3rd round. April 23rd 2000 it is avenged by beating Greco by KB.

Hoost remains the champion of World Grand Prix in 2000 by beating Ray Sefo, and by gaining its 3rd K-1 championship. It is at this time that many fan claimed a combat between Hoost and the monstrous Bob Sapp. Hoost gains its 3rd title of World Grand Prix of sharpened, and its 4em in all, while beating Stefan Leko at the time of the tournament of 2001 .

Very awaited match against Bob Sapp took place at the time of World Grand Prix of 2002, and Sapp carried it by KB in the first round after stop of the referee. Hoost still lost against Sapp on December 7th, still by KB in the 2nd round.

Hoost gains against legendary the Rick Roufus by KB in the 10th recovery at the time of its last victory.
