Ernest of Saxony , born in Meissen the January 24th 1441, deceased the August 26th 1486 with Colditz.

Ernest of Saxony married the November 19th 1460 Elisabeth of Bavaria (dead in 1484) girl of Albert III of Bavaria-Munich.

Christine of Saxony (1461 - 1521), in 1478 it married Jean Ier of Denmark

Frederic III of Saxony

Ernest of Saxony (1464 - 1513), it entered the orders and was archbishop of Magdeburg, bishop of Halberstadt

Jean Ier of Saxony (1468-1532), known as " the Policy-holder

Marguerite of Saxony (1469 - 1528), in 1487 it married the duke Henri Ier of Brunswick-Lunebourg (1468-1532)

At the time of the division of the grounds in 1485 Ernest of Saxony took Thuringe, Magdeburg and Saxony, his/her brother Albert III of Saxony took possession of Misnie and Osterland.
