Ernest Kalas
Ernest Kalas , architect, born with Rheims on February 10th, 1861, is deceased there on December 9th, 1928.
Philippe Ernest Kalas, architect-decorator, were a scientist of a vast scholarship. During the war, he was the architect of the palate of Fontainebleau. In 1922 it founded the Union rémoise decorative Arts. We owe him the Palais of the Champagne , house carried out for the World Fair of 1900 , and especially the remarkable mosaic of the work of champagne, for the storerooms Mumm, which one can always admire street of Mars. He married in Rheims in 1886 White Honorine Truchon (1866-1934), itself painter, and rests with the Cimetière of North.
