Erlangen
Erlangen is a town of Germany, in the area of the Average-Franconie ( Mittelfranken ), in the north of the free State of the Bavaria ( Bayern ). With more than 103.000 inhabitants, it is smallest of the 8 big cities ( Großstädte : more than 100.000 inhabitants) of Bavaria, and one of smallest of Germany (78ème of the 81 German big cities in 2005). Re-elected for its University (Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg) and its Medicine, it is also one of the principal premises of the undertaking Siemens AG. Areva, undertaken French, has an increasing presence there.
