Erispoë

Erispoë , wire of Nominoë, was a king of Brittany died in 857.

Biography

Erispoë succeeds his/her father with the head of the Brittany in 851 and faces Charles II victoriously the Bald person the August 22nd 851 with Jengland-Beslé close to the Vilaine. In 853, as in 843, the town of Nantes is again plundered by the Norman ones; Erispoë makes them the war, which ends in the departure of Norman towards 855.
