Eriocraniidae
Of the Eriocraniidae as one of most primitive Lépidoptère S. She is regarded contains 24 S present mainly in the areas Holarctique S with some species in tropical Asia and Australia. Last nine present known in Europe. These butterflies are mainly diurnal and can be found close to their plants hosts. In Europe the larvae live on the Betulaceae and the Fagaceae. Those are inside the sheets. This family was created by James William Tutt (1858-1911) in 1899.
