Erin Buescher
Erin Buescher (born the June 5th 1979 with Santa Rosa, California) is currently a professional American player of Basket-ball of the Women' S National Basketball Association (WNBA) with the San Antonio Silver Stars.
It evolved/moved with the college " Rincon Valley Christian" of Santa Rosa, California.
University career
It evolved/moved with the the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) of 1998 with 2000. It helped to carry out its called team The Gauchos , with an assessment of 83 victories - 14 defeats at the time of its three years with the school, UCSB gaining the title of the Conference " Big West" and participant in three recoveries with the tournament finale NCAA.In September 2001, Buescher was transferred to the " The Master' S College" , a small Christian school of Santa Clarita, California. She explained why its transfer in this small school had with its religious convictions.
At the time of its year senior in Master' S, Buescher helped its team (called The Lady Mustangs ) with an assessment of 26 victories - 3 defeats and with an appearance with the tournament National Association off Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). She also formed part of team-type NAIA All-American and was elected " National Christian College Athletic Association player off the year".
She left graduate in 2001 there.
Career WNBA
The April 11th 2001, it was selected by the Minnesota Lynx with the second turn (23e row) of the draft 2001.It spent its year rookie with the Lynxes, playing 32 meetings this year, being titular with 19 recoveries. It was leader of the Lynxes with counter (29).
At the time of the season 2001-2002, the Lynxes transferred Buescher to the Charlotte Sting. She spent the seasons 2002 and 2003 in a role additional.
Buescher decided to take one sabbatical year of the WNBA for personal reasons, to play in New Zealand and Greece.
Sting transferred Buescher, with Nicole Powell and Olympia Scott-Richardson with the Sacramento Monarchs in exchange of Tangela Smith and a second turn of draft 2006. Although Buescher was used in a role additional, the transfer was beneficial for Monarchs, which gained championship WNBA by beating the Connecticut Sun three victories with one.
At the time of the season 2006, Monarchs used Buescher more regularly after its coéquipière DeMya Walker fell pregnant. Buescher was leader of the WNBA to the percentage of success to the shootings (53,7%) at the time of the regular season and obtained the trophy of " WNBA Most Improved Player".
In March 2007, Buescher joined the San Antonio Silver Stars as a free agent.
