Erik Magnusson
Erik Magnusson (1282 - 1318) Swedish prince.
Second wire of the king Magnus III of Sweden. Brother of the king Birger of Sweden it is made duke of Södermanland.
He marries in 1312 Ingeborg Hakonsdatter the girl of the king Håkon V of Norway including two children

Erik Magnusson combined with his/her Valdemar younger brother, fought against his brother king Birger. It obliged it to divide the kingdom with them the July 20th 1310. The king preserved, is kingdom and the two dukes the west but with a good part of the Uppland, the Finland and the fortresses of Kalmar, Borgholm in Öland and Stockholm.
King Birger ends up eliminating his two brothers. After makehaving made them stop the December 11th 1317 at the time of a banquet with Nyköping, it made them imprison and of fain at the beginning of 1318 let them die.
The duke Erik is the principal hero of a chronicle rimée and written as old Swedish in the moitiée first of XIVéme century: the Erikskrönika .
