Erik Johnson (born the March 21st 1988 with Bloomington in the Minnesota) is an American player of Hockey.

Career of player
Johnson was fished out with the first turn of the RepĂȘchage of entry in the LNH 2006 by the Blues of Saint-Louis as a very first choice of the fishing out. Previously, it started to play hockey within the organization for the development of American hockey (US National TEAM Development Program).Johnson is the first defender selected in the forefront since Chris Philips. It has seemed to be the best hope defender for the fifteen last years. It did not evolve/move with the Blues of Saint-Louis for the Saison LNH 2006-07 because it chose to be aligned with the Minnesota Golden Gopher of the UniversitĂ© of Minnesota.

2005 Championship of the world of less than 18 years (gold medal).
- 2006 Championship of the world junior and championship of the world of less than 18 years (gold medal)
- 2007 Championship of the world junior (bronze medal). It is named in the standard team of the tournament and is indicated better defender of the competition.
